  6. So cute!! I sometimes can get a top knot, and sometimes can't, but I've never had a set way of doing it... I'll have to try this next time! Could you show us how you do your eye makeup? I've been looking and looking for a gold eye makeup tutorial, and I can't find any that I like.. I love you eye makeup though! :)

  7. Hi!! You really do have beautiful hair! Thanks for your tutorials! Question...When you put in the Moroccan oil, do you put it on when your hair is wet? I also have pretty course hair and I feel like I have to blowdry it in order to tame the frizz! So im curious about this moroccan oil. And where do you buy it? Thanks!

What colors does your hairdresser use in your hair? It's beautiful and also what kind of lip gloss do you wear?

    Thanks!!

  11. Looks so cool! I'll definitely have to master that twisty thing with your finger though. How did you do your hair right before though? It's such a nice pretty loose curl, not even a curl more like a wave. I need to master that! Also, has anybody ever told you that you look like Julianne Hough? You remind me of her!

  14. Sorry it took me so long to respond to everyone!
1st: Mascara I use is Covergirl Lash Exact, love it!
2nd: I will get right on that tutorial for makeup, eye makeup, and etc. P.S. im not a professional makeup artist or anything, i just do what i think is pretty haha
3rd: Hair color, i'm not positive what hair color my stylist uses! I will ask sometime. And she just foils my hair.
4th: Moroccan Oil: I put it in when my hair is wet! I think you can buy it at most beauty supply stores!
5th: As far as working out I do a bunch of different things but i can try to put something together on that!
Thank you for everyone that is following!!!!!

  16. Hey :) I have a couple of questions for you that doesn't involve this up-do. First, you have the length of eyelashes that I dream of having. Are they real? (I hope I'm not offending you by asking that question. I really don't mean to offend if I did.) Second question, could you do a tutorial on how to apply eyeliner for beginners? I am the only girl in my family and I never really learned how to properly do it.

  17. dusty sent me over here to check out your wavy hair tutorial. i'm in love with your hair! i usually do my waves like you do, but my hair isn't super thick so they don't always hold well. and this top knot?!?! best version yet!!!

  18. I had to try this a good ten times in front of the mirror and I finally got it! The part after the finger gets a little hard because my fingers are so short and my hair is so long but I finally got it! This is a lot faster than my sock bun and a lot neater than my messy twist bun I do! Thanks for sharing!

  20. Thanks for another tutorial. I would love, love, love a makeup tutorial. I love how your makeup enhances your natural beauty but is not over powering either. What products you use, colors, how you apply your eyeshadow, etc. You really do a lot better than you think on the tutorials :-)

  26. Hi. The tutorial goes so fast and the top of your head is cut off its impossible to follow. Maybe if you redid it slower and bent your head so we could actually see what you are doing?

  27. JUST discovered the amazing world of Cara Loren...and am addicted! I find it utterly amazing how healthy and beautiful you keep your long blonde hair...I have been trying for years to get my hair to grow as long as yours and I feel helpless.

I have major trouble with growing out my bangs especially. How often do you cut/trim? I'm trying really hard to go without washing it as long as I can, but since my hair is more fine it gets greasier much faster. Into the dry shampoo now though and that helps a lot. I would LOVE a hairCARE tutorial/post!? AND your hair color!? Just gorgeous...salon color I'm assuming?? Wondering if I could get my hands on that formula......:) :) :)

    Keep wowing us!

  29. I am so happy that I have found your blog because I am always looking for new ways to do my hair and makeup and I love everything that you have shown! Never have I been able to pull of the sock bun or top knot until I saw the way that you did it. I literally got it the second time. Thank you so much for sharing :) I look forward to looking at all of your wonderful posts!

  30. best and easiest top knot tutorial I've ever found for long hair! thank you so much :)

  31. I love this tutorial, and I'm glad you did it twice so I didn't have to rewind :) I have A LOT of hair and it's usually too heavy to keep up in a good bun without it falling. I tried this about ten times to 'perfect' it on my own hair and sometimes it worked well, other times it fell out. I found that starting with a pony and doing the finger twist method gets a very similar result but it feels more secure- just an idea for those of you having trouble! Love your blog, definitely getting bookmarked, you're awesome!

  34. Just a question.. When you say pull over, what exactly do you pull?

    ReplyDelete
  35. Okay so I am having a really hard time getting the head positioning right. Every time I try this it makes my head look really oddly shaped. It's either too saggy in the back or too tight. I have no idea how to make it look right.

  36. That was genius!!! I think my hair is too short but I am impressed

  37. Love it! What shampoo and conditioner do u use? Du use heat protection? Any good products to keep your hair healthy?

  38. I have had success with this top knot once and it took a billion times to even have it work once and then it fell out and couldn't have it work after that!! Any tips to why it may not be working?

    ReplyDelete
  39. Love this, but having a hard time with the "pull over"? Could you video this from the back so I could do my hair the same time your doing yours? Thanks!

  40. I am having so much trouble with the pull-over part too, after I twist my finger into the knot I am lost. Complete fail. Help!

    ReplyDelete
  41. I have seriously tried this A MILLION times and it NEVER turns out. #fail I LOVE it though, and will keep trying.
