Makeup Tutorial Inspiration from 2014 Spring NYFW
Monday, February 03, 2014 24 Comments Images

Okay so I have decided that I need to get back into more beauty and hair on the blog.  I thought why not begin by bringing in some inspirational makeup looks from Spring 2014 NYFW that I love.  One of my favorite looks was from the Rebecca Minkoff show......I died over the natural yet fun look that popped.  It had a little bronze to it which I love and a fun pop of blush to make the look stand out.  I think this is a look that I could wear everyday and never get sick of it.  I decided to use the TEMPTU airbrush system today....you will see it all in the tutorial!  The airbrush keeps it's very fresh and young and that's exactly what this look needs. Make sure you watch the video to get all the details!

You would want to make sure you use a lighter foundation color so you can add a bronzer, bright blush and light concealer under the eye.

I would go with a nude/light pink lip to keep it natural looking but at least give you a little color.  Here's a group of colors that I think would work perfect.

Make sure you go and vote for my look on FashionIndie to win the ultimate beauty makeover and check out all the other 2014 Spring NYFW inspired makeup look! I can't wait to try some new looks for Spring......if it will ever get here in Utah haha.

  2. Love this! I have a girlfriend that does make-up and she used airbrush on me for a shoot and I loved it!! My only concern was if it would make me breakout but if you think kit's light maybe its worth buying the system!!

    1. Hey! It actually feels like it's better for my skin? I don't know how yours would do with it though? Hopefully it wouldn't make you break out?

  9. I am so allergic to the Temptu makeup. So if you have sensitive skin...might not want to drop that much on the system.

  13. I love this! I've always wanted to try airbrush makeup but worried it would look too shiny and fake. You're makeup and hair is always absolutely gorgeous and you exude such confidence in your videos. Keep the tutorials coming! They are so informative and so fun to watch. Thank you!

  14. Loved the tutorial! Do you typically just use that brow gel for your eyebrows in your everyday routine or do you use other products?

  15. I'm wondering the same thing as Sophia (comment above). Could you link what brow product/s you use for everyday? They're perfect!
