Good morning guys! I hope you all had a great weekend and are excited to begin a new week. Today, I have teamed up with Nike again to talk about their 30-day Throwdown challenge, as well as discuss the importance of pushing yourself to mix it up, stretch yourself, and strive to get ahead of yourself. The 30-day challenge (as I mentioned a couple of weeks ago) is pretty awesome. Nike brings a challenge to the table to gear up and grab a pair of the Nike Free's and try them, wear them, test them, and push them for 30 days, and if you don't like them, send them back. Believe me though, you will like them, and if you're like me, you will love them. They are built for more dynamic movement and made to better fit your foot, so that as you run, jump, and train, the shoe expands and contracts with you. The design and look of them is clean and sexy, and they are the perfect combination of comfort and performance. I love the idea of the Nike Free challenge, because as I have focused more on my own fitness and staying fit, I have recognized the importance of challenging myself to work harder, smarter, and to mix up my routine/regimen. One thing I have noticed is that it's so easy to plateau when you do the same workout at the same reps and same weights day in and day out. It is easy to comfortable in a routine, but that is not what will push you to improved results. Lately I have been doing my best to mix in new exercises, push myself to add in more reps or more weight, and really go as hard as I can each hour I spend in the gym. This mentality of "getting ahead of yourself," has helped to remind me that each day is a battle within to work harder and push my limits mentally and physically.
I encourage you all to take the Nike Free Challenge and get a feel for the Nike Free's yourself. You be the decision maker as to whether the shoe is for you or not! Also, I challenge each of you to mix up your routine, push your body to its limits each day, and challenge yourself. I promise you won't be disappointed if you do, and you will find you are more capable than you ever thought you were. Have a great day! Thanks for following, your support means the world to me.
