How's it going guys? I hope you are all well and happy and healthy! I am coming at you today from one of the most well known beaches in LA, that being Venice Beach. If the dudes look tired in these pictures, it is because they most definitely are haha! We snapped these after a long morning of exploring Venice Beach and Abbot Kinney Boulevard, and let's just say that by the end of our exploration both boys were pretty much zombies. These two little dudes are quite experienced when it comes to traveling and seeing new places, and for the most part they love to see new things and explore new places. But, sometimes the wandering and exploring wears the little dudes out. You can see it in their faces in these pictures haha, they are both trying to be good and smile but it is taking everything they have to put on even a half smile.
As I look at these pictures I can't help but be amazed at how fast my little guys are growing up. I think their haircuts add to that a little too, they both seem so grown up with their short hair. Sometimes I get frustrated with them, but as I look at these pictures, I am mostly just overwhelmed with gratitude for the chance I have to be their mom. I love them so much, even when they are being naughty or grumpy or tired. They really are the best thing that has ever happened to me and I hope if/when they read this someday, they will be able to feel a little bit of how much Brod and I love them, and how awesome it is to be their parents. One side note on Hanes's sweatshirt...isn't it rad? Adidas original stuff has made such an impressive comeback and we found this little dude hoodie at the Adidas Store downtown LA and I love the way it looks on Hanes. There is something so classic about the Adidas logo and put it on any color (especially a navy, white, or black) and it look sooooo good!
Back to Venice Beach before I let you go, it was my first time there and I must say it is a pretty unique place! It kind of has it all and is throws a lot at you visually: shops and more shops, skateboarding and roller blading everywhere, street artists, outdoor gym, basketball, graffiti walls, and more. I mean you name it, you could probably see it at Venice Beach. Brod had been there once before when he was much younger, (his little bro Connor actually made a cameo on one of the street performances haha), but this was his first time in a long while and he said it looked a little different than his first time. As for me and the boys, it was fun and entertaining to see, but by the time we were done, we were definitely ready for naps!! Well, I will let you go now, hope you all have a great day! Love you all!
