Shoe Game

Hey gang! Spring is around the corner and I am excited for sunshine and warmer days! Today, I am talking about one of my favorite trends going on right now and one that parallels my personal taste and style in a big way. I'm talking about the trend of athleisure wear. Yes it is true, athleisure is an official (by way of Merriam-Webster) term now and can basically be defined as casual clothing that can be worn for both exercise and general use. So...in other words, athleisure wear might be my favorite and go-to style when it comes to getting dressed for my everyday life. Well, a key part of the athleisure look are the shoes that you wear, and I have partnered with DSW, Designer Shoe Warehouse, to share some of the athletic shoes that I am loving for the Spring.

Whether you are looking for a heritage/vintage brand of shoes or some of the newer styles and brands, DSW has it all. As you can see, I am a major fan of Adidas and I am showcasing three very different styles of Adidas brand shoes, all found at DSW. One common thread that can be found in each of the three looks below is a casual cool vibe that resonates with each look. This casual and comfortable cool is accomplished differently by each look, making each look unique and yet part of the same style.

The first look takes the Adidas sliders from DSW and pairs them with some jeans, a hat, and a long-sleeve basic tee to give that effortless cool vibe. I absolutely love the ease and kick back feel of this look and the sliders are the perfect shoe to produce that.

The second look is one I wore to run some errands with the boys after school and then to a play date at the park. The "go anywhere" mentality of the athleisure trend fits my day to day schedule perfectly and I love knowing I can go around town and to the park and feel comfortable at both places. These sneakers were such a unique color-way and I loved the hint of orange.

The third look was one that I dressed up a little more with a denim jacket and rocked the vintage blue Adidas to complete it. I had some meetings this particular day and then the boys and I went out for dinner and I felt great the whole day in this casual combo. If you can't tell, athleisure type of looks are right up my alley and mesh smoothly with my own personal style. As you look to put together your own favorite athleisure looks this Spring, be sure to check out the shoe selection at Designer Shoe Warehouse. Their selection and brand/style options are on point! I hope you give athleisure a try if you haven't already, I have a feeling you will love it! Thanks for following, I love you all!

  1. Okay, I'm going to need each pair of those shoes... STAT! I actually just ordered the Adilette slides a few days ago from another retailer, but had to go with the little kids' sizes. (:

  10. I saw good feedbacks all talking positively on the awesomeness of dr. wakina love spell and spiritual healing powers via dr.wakinalovetemple@gmail.com. I became testy and hungry for services to help get back the love of my husband. My husband was and has always been a good and caring lover, but everything changed the night he came back drunk, we had quarrel which eventually lead to fight, I was hospitalized that night. After spending days in hospital, I came back to note that he has threatened me with restraining order. His actions where so petty like he has been nursing my exit. I was in pain for being thrown out for no reason.
I could have naturally waited for him to come back to his senses and do the right thing, but I discovered I was two months pregnant, so I needed him badly, but I cannot win back his heart alone without connections from higher powers.
After two months of separation without any means of communication, he came back to me as dr. wakina predicted after casting a reunion love spell on us, we are united again for three weeks waiting anxiously for our baby. It is unbelievable dr. wakina possesses such power. Doctor can be reached via dr.wakinalovetemple@gmail.com
